Children’s Law Center attorneys, through our agency’s Immigrant Children’s Justice Project, provide a range of legal assistance to migrant youth who are eligible for certain humanitarian protections due to past harms they have suffered. Those protections can include securing Special Immigrant Juvenile status, asylum, temporary protected status, DACA, and UVisas, among other relief. CLCM attorneys also provide representation addressing immigrant children’s access to education and health care, and ensuring their access to legal guardians. Advocacy is conducted before the Boston Immigration Court, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services,  Juvenile and Probate Courts throughout Massachusetts, and before local schools. Immigration legal assistance can be obtained through the Law Center’s help-line, via office walk-ins, and by case referrals from schools, youth servicing programs, and other legal service providers.
